1. Infinite
Possiblities: The Art of Living Your Dreams
by Mike Dooley
This is not a motivational audio program. It's more philosophical, and
it's aimed at certain "Truths of Being"; becoming aware of
them, understanding them, and harnessing them. Mike Dooley's goal is to
remind you how powerful you are, how far you can reach, and how much you
deserve so that you can begin thriving as the the giant you are, in a
kingdom ruled by the power of your thoughts. Infinite
Possibilities is fully refundable, and while supplies last, you'll
receive a free book signed to your name by Mike Dooley with each order.
2. The
Shift
This is a set of tools designed to prompt an immediate mental shift into a
spiritual, loving, and peaceful experience with every
thought, action, and word.
Newcomers should start with the Shift
System, a home-study course that delivers some practical and
effective solutions to everyday challenges.
(To read more about the home-study program, click the "The Shift
System ®" link at the top right of The
Shift main page. You'll also see retreats, coaching, and links to
more resources at this main page. It's worth browsing around.)
Who's it for? Anyone who has a hard time bringing spiritual
ideals into their everyday lives.
3. Spiritual
Parenting
Mimi Doe delivers. Here, she has
created a free spiritual retreat for parents on the web. Her newsletter "Spiritual
Parenting Thought for the Week" features lots of creative and
practical ways to weave spirituality into your family's everyday
life.
Mimi is the author of "10
Principles of Spiritual Parenting," as seen on the Oprah
Winfrey show.
Who's it for? Parents.
4. Beliefnet.com
This is a multi-faith website with some pretty engaging communities. You
can search sacred texts and read articles by the leading spiritual
thinkers of our time.
You'll also find all kinds of quizzes to help you
explore your own spirituality, including the infamous "Belief-O-Matic."
Even with all the varying opinions at Beliefnet (the discussions can get
pretty heated...sometimes uncomfortably so), the editors do a good job
of maintaining respect for all religious choices.
There's even a daily newsletter of Religious Jokes, which have squeezed
more than one laugh out of this office.
Most of Beliefnet's
resources are free, with some exceptions, including a compelling series
on The Historical Jesus.
Who's it for? There's something here for everyone.
5. Audible.com
Here's how to make your carpool the most productive part of your
day. Audible allows you to instantly download more than 18,000
audio programs, including spiritual, inspirational and self-help
classics, as well as educational titles. Even fiction. You can listen
from your desktop or transfer the audio files to a portable listening
device. They'll even make it easy on you by giving you a free
portable MP3 player when you join.
You'll save time and money by
downloading your favorite titles, plus you'll have a steady stream of
spiritual wisdom whenever you need it. A very cool tool.
Who's it for? There's something at Audible.com for
everyone.
